A 21-year-old bride cancelled her wedding in UP’s Bareilly, after her groom turned up drunk and put the varmala on her bestie’s neck. A lot of brawl took place at the venue where the auspicious occasion was set to take place.
Bride slaps drunk groom and cancels her wedding
Radha Devi was the 21-year-old bride who had called off her wedding, slapped her groom after he arrived drunk at the wedding venue. It all began when the groom named, Ravindra Kumar, came late with his baraat at his wedding. Reportedly, the 26-year-old groom’s family was already given Rs. 2.5 lakh dowry by Radha’s family during the pre-wedding functions. They were also given Rs. 2 lakh on the day of the wedding. In the FIR, the bride’s family mentioned that the groom’s family was not satisfied with the dowry amount.
