Mahesh Babu Rajamouli off to Odisha for SSMB 29 shoot

Mahesh Babu and Rajamouli left for Odisha to commence a new schedule of shooting for their upcoming film #SSMB29 (tentatively titled). In the new schedule, Rajamouli will film talkie and adventure scenes on Mahesh Babu and the support cast at Koraput, Jeypore, and Deomali. The shooting is expected to commence this week, and all the logistics are arranged for the same. The team has been meticulously planning this schedule to ensure a seamless shooting experience in Odisha’s challenging yet stunning landscapes. Rajamouli, known for his attention to detail, has personally overseen the location scouting for this leg of the shoot.

Mahesh Babu, Rajamouli Off To Odisha For SSMB 29

After having shot for a couple of brief schedules in Hyderabad, the unit of #SSMB29 (tentatively titled) has now moved to Odisha. Mahesh Babu and Rajamouli will shoot in the picturesque locales of Odisha in the new schedule. Fans of the superstar have spotted their favourite actor leaving the airport to Odisha on Wednesday afternoon. A video of Mahesh Babu’s wife Namrata sending him off at Hyderabad airport surfaced on social media. The excitement among fans has been palpable, as this marks Mahesh Babu’s first collaboration with Rajamouli, making the film one of the most anticipated projects in Indian cinema.

In the new schedule, Rajamouli will film talkie and adventure scenes on Mahesh Babu and support cast at Koraput, Jeypore and Deomali. The shooting is expected to commence this week and all the logistics are arranged for the same. However, according to reports, Priyank Chopra Jonas will not be taking part in the schedule. SSMB29 is reportedly a globetrotting action adventure, and Rajamouli had planned to shoot major action sequences in Africa. However, to shoot a few scenes in India that resemble that of an African topography and landscape, Rajamouli had handpicked locations like Koraput, Jeypore and Deomali.

The Eastern Ghats is popular for hilly topography, rich and diverse mineral deposits, and tribal culture. SSMB 29 will be on the lines of Steven Spielberg’s Indiana Jones series. Rajamouli’s father Vijayendra Prasad had written the story and producer KL Narayana is mounting the film on a massive scale.
