Kiara Advani was previously confirmed to be a part of Farhan Akhtar’s Don 3. However, several reports now confirm that the actress has stepped away from the project. She also recently confirmed her pregnancy, which might be one of the reasons for her exit.
While she may not be a part of Don 3, the actress will be seen in many other movies. She is currently concluding her filming for War 2, alongside Hrithik Roshan. She is also scheduled to star in Toxic, alongside Yash.
About Don 3
Farhan Akhtar recently confirmed that Don 3‘s shooting is scheduled to begin in 2025. Ranveer Singh was announced as the new actor to helm the role of Don in 2023. Filmfare had also exclusively revealed that Vikrant Massey is cast as the villain in the new Don instalment.
Akhtar had previously confirmed that they were planning to begin shooting soon. “Don 3 is starting this year, and 120 Bahadur will release at the end of the year,” he had added. A report by News18 had also suggested that the movie was in its pre-production stage. “And the prep on the same will begin next year in March as apart from Farhan, Ranveer is also busy with Aditya Dhar’s untitled next and recently embraced fatherhood,” the report had further added.
After Kiara Advani’s reported exit, many are also predicting that the makers may approach Kriti Sanon to play the lead. However, the same hasn’t been confirmed yet. According to ardent Bollywood fans on Reddit, Kriti could bring a fresh yet fierce energy to the character.
