Kiara Advani Kareena Kapoor and more share heartfelt Womens Day wishes

As the world celebrates International Women’s Day on March 8, it’s a time to recognize the strength, resilience, and achievements of women everywhere. Bollywood has always been a big part of this conversation, telling stories that highlight powerful female characters and real-life struggles. Over the years, the industry has changed, with more women leading films, directing, producing, and making their voices heard. Whether on screen or behind the scenes, they continue to break barriers and inspire millions. Today is not just about celebrating how far women have come but also about supporting the journey ahead. Many Bollywood celebrities also took to social media to share their appreciation and wishes, honouring the incredible women in their lives.

Sanjay Dutt marked the occasion with a heartfelt Instagram post dedicated to the most important women in his life—his late mother Nargis, wife Maanyata, daughters Trishala and Iqra, and sisters Priya and Namrata. Sharing a series of pictures, he wrote, “The women in my life are my biggest blessings. Their love, care, and strength mean everything to me. Happy Women’s Day to my loves.”

She wrote, “To women & those who empathise with being one, what a privilege it is to be a part of this sisterhood… to have never met you all & yet to know… YOU get me as I get you. Who else could truly understand the depths of our emotions, the strength in our vulnerability, the resilience against all odds, the power to endure life… and further, choose to nurture another. The insatiable appetite for love, An impossible capacity to forgive, An indomitable spirit in constant pursuit of everyone’s happiness.”
