His match-winning performance had the nation cheering but the highlight was Athiya Shetty’s reaction to India’s win. The actress, who is expecting her first child with Rahul, shared a snap of herself cheering for the cricketer.
On Sunday night, Athiya took to Instagram to share a snap of herself standing by the TV as a shot of KL Rahul celebrating post India’s win came on. While the snap is dimly lit, Athiya’s baby bump is visible. The actress had earlier announced her pregnancy. She tagged Rahul and put up a heart emoji.

Meanwhile, Athiya’s father, Bollywood star Suniel Shetty, also took to social media to share his happiness. He posted a photo of son-in-law KL Rahul from the match and wrote, “INDIA’S WISH!!! Rahul’s COMMAND…” Rahul can be seen raising his bat after India’s win.
