Shah Rukh Khan’s bungalow Mannat is set for renovations in May. Many repots previously suggested that the actor and his family were moving out of the place for renovations. He has rented two luxury duplex apartments in Pali Hill, Khar West, for a three-year period. However, the project is currently facing a setback as an activist has raised concerns about violations in the renovation plan. They have asked the National Green Tribunal (NGT) to step in and pause the work.

Many reports have stated that the renovations include the family adding two more floors to the six-storey building. Daundkar has been asked to submit evidence of his claims. Judicial Member Dinesh Kumar Singh and Expert Member Vijay Kulkarni said that any action would be taken if proper proof is submitted. The NGT is scheduled to hear the case on April 23, 2025.
The building is a landmark at the Bandra Bandstand area in Mumbai as it attracts several tourists and crowds who gather around to catch a glimpse of Shah Rukh and his family. It has become a tourist site, who take photos with the mansion’s nameplate or wait in the area to wave at Khan.

On the professional front, Shah Rukh Khan is preparing to film his movie King. It will also star Suhana Khan, Abhay Verma and Abhishek Bachchan in key roles.
