Shanaya Kapoor is all set to mark her debut in Bollywood with the film Tu Yaa Main with Adarsh Gourav. The teaser of the film was released today and it gave a glimpse of a story that oscillates between romance and thrills. Soon after the announcement was made, Shanaya’s friends and industry colleagues took to social media to praise the actress and congratulate her.
Shanaya’s rumoured boyfriend Karan Kothari, too, showered praises on her and penned a long appreciation note. He re-shared the teaser of Tu Yaa Main and wrote, “Tell the little girl who’s been dreaming for years that reality is just getting started… (heart shaped emoji) @shanayakapoor02 see you later alligator.” He then put up a short clip of Shanaya that shows her flexing her bicep. Along with it, he wrote, “Oh yeah….it’s time.”

It was earlier reported that Shanaya is dating her college sweetheart Karan Kothari, who is a Mumbai-based businessman. As per a source quoted by a leading website, “Shanaya has not posted anything about her beau, and it’s quite obvious that she wouldn’t talk about him. However, he has been her plus-one to many Bollywood parties and she has even introduced him as her partner to her colleagues.”
Meanwhile, Shanaya’s close friends Aryan Khan, Suhana Khan and Ananya Panday, too, shared the teaser and expressed their excitement.
Ananya wrote, “Toooo many favourites in this one. Looks sooo sooo good”. While Suhana wrote, “Never been this excited.” Shanaya’s cousins Khushi Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor also cheered for her.

Tu Yaa Main is produced by Aanand L Rai’s Colour Yellow, which is the banner behind films such as Tumbbad and Haseen Dillruba. It is directed by Bejoy Nambiar and written by Abhishek Bandekar. The film marks Rai’s first collaboration with Nambiar. Tu Yaa Main will be released next year on Valentine’s Day.
