Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani announced their pregnancy a couple of weeks ago, making their fans ecstatic about the little one. Now, the actor has opened up about his vision for raising a kid with his actress-wife. During a conversation with a popular content creator, the Shershaah actor was asked about his plans to approach parenting in today’s world and about the significance of a father’s role in raising sons.
He responded by saying, “It’s definitely something that parents can be conscious of – what they are really feeding their kids in terms of culture, in terms of being examples. The best way, in my book, though it’s a very difficult way, as we’ve all spoken about – is to definitely get your boys in check while they are growing up.” The actor continued, “I was reading recently, and it says, you know, being male is by birth, but being a man is by choice. ”
Sidharth was then asked what it meant to be a man, to which he responded that it means that one starts taking responsibility for their actions. He also underscores the importance of the cultural environment parents provide to their children and the examples they set.
Sidharth and Kiara announced their pregnancy in a joint post on social media. The picture that they shared featured cream-coloured knit socks that they were cradling. The caption of the post read, “The greatest gift of our lives (baby emoji) Coming soon”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Sidharth is currently shooting for the film Param Sundari with Janhvi Kapoor. Kiara, on the other hand, reportedly stepped away from Don 3 after her pregnancy. Although the news has not been confirmed by the makers of the film. However, she will be seen in Yash’s Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups and War 2.
