Randhir Kapoor once revealed the real reason behind why he and Rishi Kapoor didn’t attend Holi parties
Kareena and Karisma Kapoor’s dad, Randhir Kapoor, married Babita Kapoor. The actor used to enjoy the female crowd that used to be present at the Holi parties when he was young. During The Kapil Sharma Show season 2, Randhir was seen on the couch with Karisma Kapil, the host, who asked the actor about the good old times when veteran stars used to attend Holi parties. Kapil asked which star would be keen on playing songs and dancing during Holi parties. Randhir replied by saying:
“Raj Kapoor saab, Shami uncle, Shashi uncle, Sitara devi ji aati thi. Thoda traditional kisam ka atmosphere rehta tha. Fir jab se ye rang aa gaya, zamaane badal gaye, shakle badal gayi logo ki… koi pehchaane nahi jaate the. Nayi pidi ki jitni ladkiya thi, sabne aana band kar dia. Toh jab ye ladkio ne aana band kar diya, mujhe aur Rishi ko bhi pasand nahi ata tha. Maza nahi aata tha.”
