Rani Mukerji has won many Filmfare awards, but what made her win at the 51st Filmfare Awards special was receiving it from Will Smith. The actor had attended the 51st Filmfare Awards and presented the Best Actress award to Rani for Black. Will Smith said, “I am very excited, and I have been treated really well. It has been like home. Fardeen (Khan), Salman (Khan), Pooja Batra and everyone else has taken really good care of me.”

He called Rani up on stage, who went ahead to receive her award. Elated, the star thanked some special people while delivering a heartwarming speech. “This a great moment for me, because I won the award for Black. Black is a very special film for me because it taught me a lot of about life. It taught me how to be a good human being. I don’t think I was good before Black. Thank you, Sanjay, for giving me this film and trusting me with such faith. Without you, this wouldn’t have been possible. Thank you so much, for believing in the film.” She acknowledged how the film had changed her perspective and shaped her as both an actress and a person. Her emotional tribute to Bhansali showed how much the movie meant to her, personally and professionally.

Apart from winning incredible awards, Rani has also been seen in many Filmfare covers. She has posed solo and with Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan for the covers.
