Vivek Oberoi is an Indian actor and businessman. The actor is the son of veteran actor, Suresh Oberoi. He started his acting journey in 2002 with the crime film, Company, for which he won two Filmfare awards. However, his acting career remained a rollercoaster ride, pushing him towards business. The actor is an immaculate businessman and recently revealed three mantras to follow if one dreams of having a successful business or start-up. The actor-turned-businessman, who mostly lives in the UAE now, shifted to Dubai three years ago with his wife, Priyanka Alva and their children. He also shared why he chose the UAE for his business and how the country makes him feel at home. During a podcast with MensXP, Vivek was seen sharing the three core mantras of a successful business. He added that passion, perseverance, and focus are the most important three things for the foundation of setting up a business or beginning a start-up. He shared:
“You need to be extremely passionate about what you are doing and should have the perseverance to follow your dream irrespective of the obstacles you face. And the most important of all is the focus. Working 25 hours a day is not counted, but how focused you stay on the hours you invest is what matters. Planning the right execution and focusing on that is what makes your business successful. Another thing is don’t be hard on yourself. The key is to extend your target, and when you achieve it before time, it gives a sense of happiness.”
