Emraan Hashmi has announced the release of Awarapan 2 while sharing its official teaser on social media. The actor has confirmed the movie and is set to return as Shivam Pandit. The teaser gives fans glimpses of what to expect from the sequel.
Emraan has also announced that Awarapan 2 is scheduled to release in the theatres on April 3, 2026. Fans took to the comments to laud the actor. Many have noted that they cannot wait for the sequel, while many are planning to rewatch the 2007 movie.
During an interview with News18, producer Mukesh Bhatt had noted about Awarapan’s re-release. Acknowledging fans’ excitement, he said, “Oh my god! I have been hearing this from everywhere. Yes, people have been approaching me about this. But I believe in giving the audience what they truly want. The demand for re-releasing these movies is strong, and I will discuss it with my team before making any decision.”

About Awarapan
Shivam (Emraan Hashmi) plays the role of a hitman. He is asked to keep an eye on his boss’s mistress. However, he soon learns that she has been a victim of sex trafficking. Shivam decides to unite her with her lover.
