Remember Amitabh Bachchanâs Black Co-Star Ayesha Kapur? Sheâs Married

Ayesha Kapur, the Indian-German actress who played the younger version of Rani Mukerji’s character in Black, has tied the knot. She featured in several scenes alongside Amitabh Bachchan in the Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial. Fans are thrilled as they recall the actress’ role in the 2005 film.

Ayesha Kapur is married

Ayesha married her longtime beau Adam Oberoi this weekend. Their wedding was a lavish affair in Delhi attended by the couple’s close friends and family. For her bridal ensemble, Ayesha opted for a pretty pink lehenga with an embroidered dupatta. Her groom complemented her in an ivory sherwani paired with a light pink turban. In a photo that has now gone viral, the two can be seen posing happily after the nuptials. Check it out here:

Ayesha is an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach. Born in Dusseldorf, Germany, she is the daughter of Dilip Kapur, the owner of the brand Hidesign. She grew up in Auroville, Tamil Nadu.

Ayesha received the Filmfare Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role (Female) for her excellent performance in Black at the 51st Filmfare Awards. Apart from Black, she featured in the 2009 film Sikandar. Since then, Ayesha has stayed away from the limelight. She was set to make a comeback to acting with the Shekhar Kapur-directed film Paani which also featured the late Sushant Singh Rajput. However, the film did not take off. Back in 2022, she announced her acting comeback with Hari Ka Om. However, we’re yet to get an update on the project.
