Bollywood actor Sonu Sood’s wife, Sonali Sood, was involved in a car accident late Monday night on the Mumbai-Nagpur highway. The incident occurred on the Wardha Road flyover, where her vehicle collided with a stationary truck.
Dtails of the Accident
The 54-year-old was traveling with her sister Sumita Salve, when the unfortunate accident took place. Reports state that Sonali’s nephew was behind the wheel at the time. The trio was on their way home from Nagpur airport when the accident occurred.
Sonali, who was seated in the front passenger seat, sustained injuries, while Sumita and the driver were in the back seat. Fortunately, all occupants survived the crash, thanks to the timely deployment of airbags. However, their car was severely damaged. Following the accident, Sonali and Sumita were rushed to Max Hospital, where they are currently receiving medical treatment. There’s no report of serious injuries or complications so far.
Sonu Sood’s Response
After news of the accident broke, Sonu Sood reassured fans and well-wishers about his wife’s condition. Speaking to a leading media outlet, the actor expressed relief over her safety.
“She’s doing fine now. Had a miraculous escape. Om Sai Ram,” Sonu Sood shared.
