Hina Khan travelled to Mecca around 15 and 16 March 2025 with her brother for Umrah and shared pictures from the same. But, many netizens pointed out that she shouldn’t have taken the long trip to the crowded holy site amid her breast cancer treatment. Hina had been quiet about it, but recently, in an interview with Pinkvilla, the actress opened up about it. The actress shared that the trip held a special meaning for her and that she needed it. In her words:
“It was a very meaningful trip and yeh mere liye bahut zaroori tha. I needed that emotional release and woh wahi jaa ke ho sakta tha. Mujhe bohot daant pade hai waha jaane ke liye. Aaj subah bhi main mere doctor se baat kar rahi thi.”
