The title of Ram Charan’s next film, RC 16, has been revealed on his 40th birthday today. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the film also features Janhvi Kapoor in her first collaboration with the megastar. The makers also dropped the film’s first look posters.

Peddi’s first look unveiled
The first poster sees Ram Charan intensely gazing into the camera while lighting a cigar. The actor sports curly hair, a big beard and an overall rugged look. His character also wears a septum ring. This is a new avatar for the RRR star.
In another first look poster, Ram Charan can be seen wearing a dark blue and red striped shirt with the sleeves rolled up around his elbows. The poster offers a closer look at the character. He seems to be holding a cricket bat. It is unclear if the character is a cricketer, but he can be seen standing against a rural stadium background.
Everything we know about Peddi so far
Apart from Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor, Peddi also features Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu and Divyendu Sharma. Director Buchi Babu Sana also has writing credits on the film, which is produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru, with music by AR Rahman, cinematography by R Rathnavelu, production design by Avinash Kolla, editing by Navin Nooli, and VY Praveen Kumar as the executive producer. Filming for Peddi is yet to commence.
