Akshita Garud played the role of the biological daughter of Ajay and Kajol, whom Mahima Chaudhary adopted in the movie, Dil Kya Kare. For the unversed, it was Kajol’s first film with her husband, Ajay. Talking about Akshita, her name in the movie was ‘Neha Kishore’ and she did proper justice to her role in the movie. Apart from that, Akshita also worked with Mithun Chakraborty in the movie, Marshal back in 2002. A year later in 2003, Akshita worked on the television show, Kumkum: Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan, wherein she played the role of ‘Roshni Mehra’.
