Barkha Bisht has been through a lot ever since her fifteen-year-long marriage broke off. It took her four years to come to terms with the fact that it wasn’t her fault that her marriage with Indraneil Sengupta ended, but a series of choices her ex-husband made, which ended up in divorce. Recently, in a hearty conversation, Barkha, for the first time, talked about the excruciating pain she went through after her separation. She also revealed how her ex-in-laws severed contact after her separation from Indraneil.
Barkha Bisht revealed her relationship with her ex-in-laws
During an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Barkha Bisht was questioned if she was still in touch with her in-laws. Barkha denied this and stated that they never contacted her. Later, when the interviewer asked her if they were in touch with Meira, she denied it. Sharing her innermost feelings and whether her in-laws were maintaining a distance, Barkha said:
“Yeah, yeah, I don’t know why, though. Mujhe aisa lagta hai ki kuch rishte nahi workout karte, but jo rishta tha vo kaise gayab ho jata hai vo mai smjh nai paayi hoon abi tak ki apka ek rishta tha, I was a wife, kisi ki daughter-in-law thi 15 saal. Vo rishta jo achanak se gayab ho gaya na, I am very surprised about that, and that is something I didn’t expect.”
