Prithviraj Sukumaran is set to begin filming his next venture, Nobody, under the direction of Nissam Basheer. According to reports, the shoot is scheduled to commence on April 9, 2025, in Kochi. The screenplay is written by Sameer Abdul, marking his second project with Basheer after their successful collaboration on Rorschach (2022), a psychological thriller starring Mammootty.
While the plot and storyline remain undisclosed, the director had hinted at a recent public event that Nobody would be an interesting mix of a heist thriller, family drama, and socio-political themes, making it a multifaceted cinematic experience.

The Cast And Crew Of Nobody
Harshavardhan Rameshwar has been roped in as the music composer for the film. He is known for his work in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Arjun Reddy, its Bollywood adaptation Kabir Singh, and Animal. He is also composing music for Ottakomban, an upcoming Malayalam film starring Suresh Gopi.
The film is being produced under the banners of Prithviraj Productions and E4 Entertainment, with Supriya Menon, Mukesh R Mehta, and CV Sarathi backing the project.
Prithviraj will be playing the lead role in Nobody, with reports suggesting that actors Suraj Venjaramoodu and Dileep might also be part of the cast, though an official confirmation from the film’s team is awaited.
Prithviaj’s Current Roster Of Projects
Meanwhile, Prithviraj recently directed and acted in L2: Empuraan, the sequel to his blockbuster Lucifer. Released on March 27, 2025, the film, featuring Mohanlal in the lead, has been performing well despite the controversies surrounding its content.
In addition to Nobody, Prithviraj has wrapped up shooting for Vilayath Buddha, directed by Jayan Nambiar. Adapted from G R Indugopan’s novel, the film is set in Marayoor and follows the story of Double Mohanan, a sandalwood smuggler. Vilayath Buddha is slated for an Onam 2025 release.
As Nobody gears up for production, fans eagerly await more details about this highly anticipated project.
