With less than a week left for the release of Sunny Deol-starrer Jaat, the excitement is slowly building and looking positive for the filmmakers. And the buzz for the action entertainer has hit a new high when Sunny Deol met superstar Prabhas on the film sets. The film’s director Gopichand Malineni shared the photos on his X and captioning it as “memorable moments with coolest and powerful stars.”
Prabhas is typically reserved but he was excited to meet Sunny Deol. The chemistry between the two action powerhouses is being discussed on social media. The pictures show the two action icons sharing a light moment has created buzz – and many have termed it as a north-south crosser union of actors. Some fans have even predicted a Prabhas cameo in Jaat – although we need to wait for some more time till the release. One fan teased, “Cameo cooking,” while another fan eagerly suggested, “Ek picture toh banti hai. Bring them together.” With Sunny Deol’s fantastic return to the silver screen in Gadar 2, expectations for his upcoming film Jaat are high. The actor’s pictures with Prabhas have further fueled the hype.
Meanwhile, the trailer of Jaat has garnered good response. Sunny Deol plays the titular character with his signature intensity while Randeep Hooda plays the antagonist. And to further up the excitement, the filmmakers also released a special song for Ram Navami, titled Oh Rama Shri Rama.
On the other hand, Prabhas is recuperating from an ankle injury which he suffered on the sets of director Hanu Raghavapudi’s film Fauji (tentatively titled). The injury prevented the actor from going on a trip to Japan where he was supposed to promote his blockbuster film Kalki 2898 AD. While Prabhas is also shooting for director Maruti’s The Raja Saab intermittently, he is gearing up to resume shooting for Fauji.
