Jr NTR and Pushpa director Sukumar recently shared a heartwarming photo, which became viral on social media. Sukumar’s wife Tabitha captioned the photo, “Tarak ki prema tho” (with love to Tarak). As the click went viral on social media, fans began speculating whether the two are in talks for a project. Filmfare’s exclusive sources have now confirmed that the two are indeed in talks to collaborate on a project. Jr NTR quickly reposted the photo and captioned it as, “Nannu Eppudu Ventade Emotion (the emotion that always follows me.)”
Their previous collaboration was Nannaku Prematho in 2016. The movie was a hit and completed nine years since its release in January 2025. It also starred Rakul Preet Singh, Jagapathi Babu and Rajendra Prasad. It followed a powerful revenge story where a son seeks justice. He gets to learn about the man who cheated on his father.
During one of his earlier interviews, Jr NTR shared how Sukumar inspired him, which led him to think in an elevated way. He noted that his directorial inputs helped shape him as an actor.
Sukumar is set to reunite with Ram Charan, tentatively titled RC 17.
