Ranbir Kapoor starrer Ramayana is one of the most talked-about projects that fans are eagerly waiting for. While the release date hasn’t been confirmed yet, the cast and crew are working hard to finish filming. The cast hasn’t been officially revealed, but reports suggest that Ranbir Kapoor is essaying the role of Ram, Sai Pallavi will be seen as Sita and Ravi Dubey will essay the role of Lakshman.
The actor opened up further. During another interview, he added that he feels excited to be a part of the movie. “I am very excited about Ramayana, because Namit (Malhotra) is doing it, and he is currently heading special effects companies all over the world. He is doing a great job and is the right person to make Ramayana. He wants to make it believable because he believes in the story. I’ve known him for years, and I think he has got the right film to do so,” the actor shared.
While he didn’t confirm his shooting schedule, Sunny acknowledged the gravity of his role. Many photos and videos from the filming have been doing rounds on social media. Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi’s photos in their costumes have also intrigued fans. The makers have divulged any information about the movie, but it was previously noted that Ramayana will be released in two parts. While the first part will hit the theatres during Diwali 2026, the second part will be released during Diwali 2027.
