In a shocking turn of events straight out of a Bollywood plot twist, a bride-to-be from Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, got the biggest shock of her life when her soon-to-be-husband ran away days before their wedding- and that, too, with her own mother! Reportedly, the marriage was supposed to take place within just ten days.
Groom-to-be elopes with would-be mother-in-law
20-year-old Shivani, a resident under Aligarh’s Madrak police station, was set to tie the knot with Rahul on April 16, 2025. Everything, from wedding invitations to party arrangements had been complete. Relatives were invited, and celebrations were in full swing in the bride-to-be’s house. However, everything fell apart on April 6, 2025, when the groom, Rahul, disappeared along with Shivani’s 40-year-old mother, Anita, without a trace.
