The star was spotted at the airport waving to fans before heading out, accompanied by his mother Shoba Chandrasekhar. With only days left for the event, the arrival of the leading man has triggered massive buzz among overseas fans who are expected to travel in large numbers to witness the spectacle.

Joining Vijay in Malaysia are composer and singer Anirudh Ravichander, director Nelson Dilipkumar, actor and choreographer Prabhu Deva, along with several top singers who will perform at the event. Director Atlee was also seen leaving the country for the launch, underscoring how the film fraternity is rallying behind what is being promoted as a once in a lifetime musical celebration.
Speaking briefly to the media at the airport, Anirudh shared his enthusiasm for the audio launch, stressing that the scale of the programme is unlike anything attempted before. According to him, the organisers are preparing for nearly 80,000 people to attend the show, turning Bukit Jalil Stadium into a sea of lights, music and fandom.
A Ten-Hour Music Marathon for Fans Worldwide
Apart from Anirudh himself, the audio launch will see performances by some of the most recognisable voices in the industry. SPB Charan, Tippu, Anuradha Sriram, Andrea Jeremiah, Saindhavi, Yogi B and several others are expected to take the stage across the night. The makers have reportedly planned a ten hour long music festival that will celebrate not just the album of Jana Nayagan but also the larger cultural footprint of Vijay and Anirudh’s collaborations over the years.
The venue is expected to host fans from across the globe, with special arrangements in place to handle the massive turnout. From choreographed dance sets to live band segments, the audio launch is shaping up to be more than just a promotional event. It aims to be a full-scale concert experience that reflects the larger-than-life image of the star.
Directed by H Vinoth, Jana Nayagan reportedly casts Vijay as a police officer, a role that has already sparked curiosity among fans.
