South Korean actor Lee Min Ho’s popularity transcends borders. He is currently preparing for his return to the small screen with When The Stars Gossip. During one of his recent interviews, the actor opened up about his deadly 2006 car accident that left him lying in a hospital bed for almost a year.
The accident occurred when the actor was 20 years old. His friend and he were injured in a collision caused by a drunk driver. He recalled, “It even made the local news in Gangwon Province. It was a fatal accident. Everyone in the offending vehicle passed away. I spent almost a year lying in a hospital bed. We were both just 20 years old, a time when you were dreaming and eager to pursue your aspirations as an adult. Suddenly, everything stopped without warning. I went through denial, anger, depression, and eventually acceptance.”
He was working for the series Korean Garden when the accident took place.
