Varun Dhawan’s Baby John has been struggling at the box office since its release, with its earnings steadily declining. After three days in theatres, the film has only managed to gross Rs 19.65 crore, according to Sacnilk. The film is facing stiff competition from Pushpa 2: The Rule and Mufasa, both of which continue to outperform Baby John in earnings.
Pushpa 2 has dominated the box office for over 20 days, still earning more than Baby John. On its 23rd day, Pushpa 2 earned Rs 6.5 crore in Hindi, surpassing Baby John’s Rs 3.65 crore. Similarly, Mufasa, which has released in multiple languages, made Rs 6.6 crore on its eighth day.
While Baby John had a promising opening day with Rs 11.25 crore, its subsequent box office drop has been concerning. As the film enters its first weekend, makers are hopeful that it will redeem itself at the box office.
