Deepika Padukone’s fans loved her role in the science fiction mythological movie, Kalki 2898 AD. The climax of the movie ends with the child in Deepika’s womb, who is destined to be ‘Kalki’, Lord Vishnu’s final avatar. Reportedly, the filming of the much-touted, Kalki 2 is expected to begin in the summer of 2025. However, the film is getting delayed as for the actress her little baby, Dua is her top priority.
Deepika Padukone reveals the reason behind Kalki 2’s delay
Recently, Deepika and her husband, Ranveer Singh, held a private event where fans were introduced to little Dua. Her face was not revealed for a long time. During the event, a media personnel member asked her about Kalki 2, and she said that baby Dua was her top priority. She revealed that she is not in a rush to resume her work commitments. The reason is that she is not comfortable leaving Dua in the care of a nanny. She had expressed taking care of her little one herself, rather than needing external help. Deepika had said:
“I will raise my daughter myself, just the way my mom raised me.”
