Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have legally ended their marriage after 19 years together. As part of the settlement, both the actor and the musician have mutually agreed not to seek alimony or child support from each other. The divorce was finalised on January 6, 2026 at a Nashville court. It happened in three months since they announced their separation publicly.
The agreement added, “They will not speak badly of each other or the members of the family of the other parent. They will encourage each child to continue to love the other parent and be comfortable in both families.”
The actor and the singer publicly announced their separation in September last year. In the divorce filings, the Oscar-winning actress referenced “marital difficulties and irreconcilable differences.” Then both sides agreed to an “amicable” division of their shared assets.

They started dating in 2005 and got married in Sydney in June 2006. They welcomed their first daughter Sunday in 2008. Then they welcomed their second daughter Faith in 2010. This marriage was the first for Keith. However, Nicole was married to Tom Cruise from 1990 to 2001.
