Critical hurdles have gone out of its way in a welcome turn of events in Nizam (Telangana). This Anil Ravipudi directorial has secured three distinct advantages that add to its anticipated massive opening in the Telugu states.
Strategic Legal and Government Backing
Shine Screens, the makers behind the movie, is enjoying timely support from the administration in Telangana. Unlike Prabhas’ The Raja Saab, which faced delays in pricing approvals, MSVG received a favourable Government Order (GO) well ahead of its release. This order permits enhanced ticket rates, allowing for a predictable rollout of premiere shows in the Nizam market. The Raja Saab lost a few crores because of a delayed GO. Filmmakers love when release formalities are certain and smooth.
Then there is a “groundbreaking” legal victory regarding online sentiment. Following a court order secured by two digital rights management firms, BookMyShow has disabled ratings and reviews for the film. This protection shields the Chiranjeevi-Nayanthara movie from “manipulative rating” campaigns that often plague superstar releases. How important is it? Well, producer Sahu Garapati’s words say it all: “This historic, court-backed step to restrict malicious reviews and down-ranking sets a powerful precedent for fair and transparent digital practices in TFI.”
Favourable Market Dynamics
The Raja Saab, which debuted just three days earlier, has struggled with negative “word of mouth”. Naturally, MSVG finds itself with a clearer path to dominate the Sankranthi season. If the film secures even decent feedback after Sunday night’s premieres in the Telugu States, it is poised for an excellent run in the coming days. For the unversed, director Anil Ravipudi’s previous release, Sankranthiki Vasthunam, was a scorching blockbuster. Incidentally, its lead man, Venkatesh, has a special role alongside Chiranjeevi in the film.
