Sujoy Ghosh, who was supposed to helm Shah Rukh Khan’s next film King, has been reportedly replaced by Pathaan director Siddharth Anand. Following this, reports went viral that the filmmaker is developing a film with Shahid Kapoor.
A report quoted a source saying that the actor was interested in the script earlier, but the timing isn’t right now. Both Sujoy and Shahid are currently making it a priority to align their schedules. Reports also stated that the film is touted to be a thriller.
However, Shahid’s team has now reportedly reacted to these reports and refuted them. As per a news portal, the actor is not in talks with Sujoy Ghosh for any such film.
Meanwhile, Sujoy Ghosh will no longer be directing Shah Rukh Khan’s King. His last directorial ventures were Jaane Jaan, Blind and Lust Stories.
