Jo Jung Suk and Gummy Welcome Second Child

Jo Jung Suk and Gummy have recently welcomed their second child. Their label revealed that the couple have welcomed a daughter some days back. The newborn and the mother are both reported to be recovering well. No additional details have been shared so far. Ten Asia has also reported that the couple have shared this news with their fans via their management.

Confirming the birth of their second child, a baby girl, on January 14, 2026, the agency said, “We are delighted to share the joyful news that a new member has joined the family.” They noted that the mother and the child are recovering, with support from the families. They have also thanked their fans and asked them to maintain privacy while the parents settle into their roles. “We kindly ask for warm support and encouragement for the couple. We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who has shown heartfelt interest and love,” the agency added.

The couple had announced that they were expecting their second child in July 2025. Not just fans, their well-wishers from the South Korean film industry also commented on the news. Earlier, during his appearance on My Little Old Boy, the actor spoke about his experience while filming My Daughter Is a Zombie in Haenam. He recalled how the singer had called him to ask if he was willing to have a second kid.

Gummy

For those unaware, Jo Jung Suk and Gummy got married on October 8, 2018. Their marriage was a private affair, after dating for five years. They have another daughter, who was born in 2020. The couple hasn’t shared the news on their social media accounts yet. However, fans are very excited to know about their daughter.
