Liam Payne’s untimely death earlier this year shocked the music industry and his fans. The former One Direction member fell out of his hotel window in Buenos Aires. Now, an Argentine judge has confirmed charges against five people and two of them have been charged for supplying him with drugs.
One of the two people has been ordered to be put under preventive prison. He was an employee of the hotel where Payne stayed. The second person who has been charged with supplying him with drugs was a waiter Payne met at a restaurant.
The other three who have been charged with manslaughter include a businessman and two managers of the hotel.
Toxicology reports after Payne’s death suggested that his body had traces of alcohol, cocaine and a prescribed antidepressant.
Liam Payne tragically passed away after falling from a balcony in Buenos Aires. He was 31 at the time of his death.
