A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms’ release, timeline, cast, and know why the Targaryen era is drawing massive buzz
In India, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms will debut on JioHotstar and Sky Atlantic, while in the U.K., it’s on NOW. The show is adapted from George R. R. Martin’s first book in the Tales of Dunk and Egg series, The Hedge Knight. The series stars Peter Claffey as ‘Ser Duncan the Tall’ (Dunk) and Dexter Sol Ansell as his squire, ‘Aegon Targaryen’ (Egg). Even before the show’s release, the makers renewed it for a second season in November 2025. ‘Ser Duncan’ and ‘Aegon Targaryen’ are going to travel across Westeros as the show is set nearly a century before the events of Game of Thrones.
