Priyanka Chopra Jonas has impressed her Varanasi director, SS Rajamouli, with her new avatar for the film, The Bluff. The RRR maker took to social media to praise the actress and called her ‘unstoppable’. Re-sharing the trailer of the film, he wrote, “Priyanka is unstoppable and always surprises… What a commanding presence and fiery performance. Looking forward to #TheBluff.”

The trailer for The Bluff, starring Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Karl Urban, offered a gripping preview of a gritty period action drama driven by survival, vengeance and fierce maternal instinct. Set against the raw and breathtaking terrain of the Cayman Islands, the film promises a tense, edge-of-the-seat narrative. It is scheduled to premiere on Amazon Prime Video in February 2026.
Directed by Frank E. Flowers, who co-wrote the screenplay with Joe Ballarini, The Bluff unfolds in a historically layered island setting that plays a crucial role in shaping the film’s mood and stakes. The trailer showcases striking real-world locations, including the Skull Cave and the towering bluff, which amplify the sense of danger and isolation surrounding the characters.
Talking of SS Rajamouli and Priyanka, the duo have joined hands for the first time for a film titled Varanasi. The film features Mahesh Babu as Rudhra, Priyanka as Mandakini, and Prithviraj Sukumaran as the antagonist, Kumbha. While the plot remains tightly guarded, fans speculate a time-travel theme. Rajamouli confirmed that Mahesh will also appear as Lord Rama in a sequence that took 60 days to shoot.
The film is scheduled to release in the summer of 2027, and is carrying humongous expectations.
