Bollywood’s ‘He-Man’, Dharmendra is continuing to win hearts even after his tragic death. For the unversed, the Ikkis actor passed away on November 24, 2025, leaving his fans heartbroken. However, the veteran actor has been honoured with Padma Vibhushan. The Padma Awards for 2026 were announced by the Ministry of Home Affairs on January 25, 2026. Well now, Dharmendra’s wife, Hema Malini has reacted to the same.
Hema Malini is proud of Dharmendra for receiving Padma Vibhushan
A few hours ago, the Ministry of Home Affairs announced the winners of Padma Awards. However, what caught everybody’s attention was that Dharmendra was also awarded with the prestigious Padma Vibhushan. Soon after the announcement, actress, Hema Malini took to her X (formerly Twitter) handle to express her pride on the same. Her note can be read as:
“So so proud that the govt has recognised Dharam ji’s immense contribution to the film industry by bestowing on him the prestigious Padma Vibhushan award.”
