Why did Taylor Swift skip the Grammys 2026?
Swifties are also wondering why the singer’s album isn’t listed among the Grammy nominees. For the unversed, the Recording Academy’s eligibility window ran from August 2024 to August 2025, and given that Taylor Swift’s 13th album, Life Of A Showgirl was released in October 2025, it was out of that window, thereby not making its name to the ballot. She also didn’t release any singles during this time, which is why she had no eligible submission for the Grammys 2026.
