Nitesh Tiwari’s film, Ramayana, starring Ranbir Kapoor has been dominating the headlines for a while now. Recently, multiple reports claimed that choreographer-turned-actor, Raghav Juyal has replaced 12th Fail actor, Vikrant Massey in the upcoming film, Ramayana. However, it looks like the reports didn’t sit well with Vikrant, who later slammed the media for the same.
Vikrant Massey shares a post slamming media, but deletes it later
On February 7, 2026, multiple outlets reported that Raghav Juyal had replaced Vikrant Massey in the film, Ramayana. Reportedly, the Kill actor would be playing the role of ‘Meghanad’, also known as ‘Indrajit’. He was the eldest son of ‘Ravana’ and the crowned prince of Lanka. However, as soon as the reports reached Vikrant Massey, he took to his Instagram handle to share a post, where he clarified the rumours. But later, he deleted the post. According to a report by News18, his IG story said:
“Ok. To put things to rest, I was never a part of this movie. Am not, never was. Such irresponsible media coverage from ‘respectable’ media houses is kinda appalling. Nonetheless, wishing everyone on Ramayana all the very best. Will surely buy a ticket and watch it in cinemas.”
