The duo has worked together in several films, as the singer has been the go-to voice for SRK for ages. However, that soon fell through, and unfortunately, they have not been able to move past it.

In an interview, Abhijeet revealed that the comments that the trolls made had admittedly become a bigger problem than the rift itself. He also shared that success got to his mind, and he refused to collaborate on numerous projects after his work with the Badshah of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan, had taken off. The singer also referred to King Khan as the only true nationalist among the Khans.
