Triptii Dimri has been enjoying sweet, sweet success recently. With many releases in 2024 and many scheduled for 2025, the actress has been enjoying quite the attention from industry peers and fans alike. However, being an actress in this industry comes with its own challenges. During an exclusive interview with Filmfare’s Editor-In-Chief Jitesh Pillaai, when Triptii was asked whether she has ever been asked to undergo facial surgeries, the actress opened up on her experiences during early days in Bollywood. “When I was auditioning somwhere, I was asked to change my nose and jaw. Paise nahi hain mere paas ye sab karane ke liye. But… Abhi bhi… Kitne mere friends mujhe bhejte hain… ‘Triptii, tune kya kara liya hain? Dekh rahe hain hum Instagram pe. Just shut up guys,” she said.
However, Triptii said she does not want to judge stars who eventually change their facial structures. “Of course, you can’t judge people who have done it. You can do what you want to. It’s your face, it’s your money. You can do what you want,” she added.
Noting that she does not like facial surgeries, the Animal actress also said that her father is completely against it. “Because my dad also asked me, kuch karaya toh nahi hain na? Kabhi mat karana. I was like, ‘Nahi dad. Kuch nahi karaya hain.’ But yeah, I don’t ever want to feel insecure about myself. Jo hain mera… this is who I am. This is who I am going to be for the rest of my life,” she further added.
