Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, who stepped into the world of parenthood in November 2022, have been doting parents for their daughter, Raha Kapoor. In a recent update shared on her Instagram, Alia offered a glimpse into her current reading list, highlighting the philosophy she follows while raising Raha. She posted a picture of the book, The Parent’s Tao Te Ching: Ancient Advice for Modern Parents by William Martin, adding the caption ‘obsessed’. The book is based on guiding parents to build deeper, more meaningful connections with their children. It focuses on thoughtful communication and timeless wisdom, specifically adapted for the challenges of modern parenting.
The title of the book suggests that Alia is leaning toward an approach that mixes ancient advice with a contemporary lifestyle. This revelation comes as Alia continues to balance motherhood beautifully with her professional commitments. She has previously spoken about how she and Ranbir manage their shooting schedules to ensure that at least one of them is always present with Raha.
Ranbir Kapoor also recently shared insights into their family life and his morning routine around Raha. During a chat with Vogue India, Ranbir revealed the first five things he does every morning. He shared, “I kiss my wife. I rush down to my daughter Raha’s room. I try and steal some cuddles but she is usually very restless in the morning. I have black coffee, plan my day and eat my breakfast.”
On the work front, Alia Bhatt is currently gearing up for her upcoming spy thriller titled Alpha. The high-octane action film, which also stars Sharvari and Bobby Deol in key roles, is slated to hit the silver screen this year. She is also set to star in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War, co-starring Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal in lead roles.
