Siddhant Chaturvedi Manifests A Yuvraj Singh Biopic: âœThe World Needs To Know His Storyâ

Siddhant Chaturvedi, who is currently in the spotlight for his upcoming film Do Deewane Seher Mein, has once again spoken about a dream role that has stayed close to his heart for years. In a recent conversation, when asked which cricketer’s biopic he would most like to star in, Siddhant’s answer was immediate and straightforward – Indian cricket legend Yuvraj Singh.

Siddhant, who rose to fame with his breakout performance in Gully Boy, has been vocal about this aspiration for quite some time. He said, “Biopic, of course — all the time. I have kept telling this from day one, since 2019, and I’ll say it even now and manifest that one day it happens — Yuvraj Singh.”

Siddhant expressed unfiltered admiration for the cricketer and the extraordinary journey he has lived, mentioning the deep impact Yuvraj’s life has had on him. He shared, “Because his journey has been incredible, it’s been a rollercoaster ride. I have loved and adored him through all his games, his play, his lifestyle, and the problems and tragedies he has faced. He’s an icon, and the world needs to see the film and know his story.”

Known for bringing intensity and authenticity to every character he plays, Siddhant feels like a natural fit for a biopic that demands both emotional vulnerability and star presence. Interestingly, Siddhant is already involved in bringing real-life stories to the big screen. He will next be seen playing the legendary filmmaker V. Shantaram in an upcoming biographical project. This role further reinforces his growing association with legacy-driven stories and strengthens the belief that if a Yuvraj Singh biopic does happen, Siddhant would be a top contender to watch.

Siddhant’s connection with cricket-based storytelling actually began early in his career with the series Inside Edge, where he explored the darker aspects of the sport. For now, Siddhant gears up for his next release on Friday, Do Deewane Seher Mein also co-starring Mrunal Thakur.
