Mumbai: Actress Kriti Verma attended the Filmfare Awards 2026 in Mumbai this week. The annual ceremony brought together leading members of the film fraternity.
Born on 4 September 2001 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, Kriti Verma currently works from the city. Over the past few years, she has built her presence across television, digital platforms and regional cinema.
She recently played the lead role in the Kannada film O Sundara Rakshasi, released on 13 February 2026. The film marked her continued collaboration with Sky Is The Limit Studios after O Andala Rakshasi.
Verma gained nationwide attention in 2018 as a contestant on Bigg Boss 12, hosted by Salman Khan. She later appeared on MTV Roadies Xtreme and MTV BCL 4.
Her digital work earned her a nomination at the Filmfare OTT Awards for Best Female Lead Actress for the web series Simran. She has also appeared in Zee TV’s Tere Bina Jeeya Jaaye Na and the short film Kuch Din Friends Ki Tarah Rehte Hain.
Apart from films and television, she featured as the lead in the song “Rathuni Rathuni” from Karikaada. She has worked with brands such as Fasih Perfumes, Fashion Asia, Umang and Jazzba.
Speaking at the event, Verma said, “It is always encouraging to attend ceremonies that celebrate cinema and bring together professionals from across the industry.”
