Wednesday season 3 is now in production. A teaser was shared recently, confirming the same. Jenna Ortega will reprise her role as Wednesday Addams, returning to Nevermore Academy with her signature deadpan charm. The upcoming season will also introduce several new cast members, including Winona Ryder.
Ryder’s casting marks a reunion not only with Ortega but also with filmmaker Tim Burton, who serves as a director and executive producer on the series. Burton and Ryder share a long creative history. She first collaborated with him on Beetlejuice (1988), followed by Edward Scissorhands (1990), Frankenweenie (2012) and Beetlejuice Beetlejuice (2024). Furthermore, Jenna and Winona both starred in Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, the sequel to Burton’s 1988 cult classic.
