Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has been married to Mansoureh Khojasteh Bagherzadeh for more than 50 years. They got married in 1964. Mansoureh was born in 1947 in Mashhad to a religious and relatively well-known merchant family. Her father, Mohammad Esmaeil Khojasteh Bagherzadeh, was a prominent businessman in the city.
