Following their intimate Udaipur wedding, Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna (fondly known as Virosh) are set to host a grand reception in Hyderabad on March 4. In a statement, the couple’s team said that the celebration at Taj Krishna is a strictly invite-only event.
Wedding reception entry through QR code
Due to overwhelming public interest and potential safety concerns, the guest list has been significantly reduced following advice from local law enforcement authorities. Entry will be permitted only to those possessing a unique, one-time-use QR code sent along with their official invitation. The venue will be under heavy police security to prevent unauthorised gatherings and traffic congestion. Guests, fans, media personnel, and well-wishers without valid QR codes are respectfully requested not to attend, as access will be denied by security.
Rashmika and Vijay’s gorgeous Sangeet visuals surface
Meanwhile, Vijay recently shared pictures of himself participating in the Sangeet ceremony with Rashmika. The event took place in Udaipur two days prior to their wedding. “Our Sangeet night. The evening was spent laughing until we had tears in our eyes, dancing until the arches of our feet hurt, and holding back emotions during everyone’s speeches and surprises until our eyes welled up. It was a big, happy celebration filled with beautiful people,” wrote the Kingdom actor.
Vijay Deverakonda pledges charity for scholarships
The Geetha Govindam star is now turning his attention back to his roots with a philanthropic initiative through the Vijay Deverakonda Foundation. On Monday, the actor announced a new scholarship programme for students of Classes 9 and 10 across 44 government schools in the Achampet division. He also plans to visit his hometown, Thummanpeta, more frequently in the coming years.
After a break of nearly three to four weeks, Vijay is expected to resume work soon, shooting simultaneously for Ranabaali and Rowdy Janardhana. Rashmika plays the female lead in Ranabaali.
