Late actor, Chiranjeevi Sarja’s wife, Meghana Raj recently sat down for an interview with the Rayanemithun show and spoke about how she has been facing a lot of emotional and societal pressures as a single mother. She did not reveal it directly, but indirectly indicated that for her to take on both the roles of mother and father to her son, Raayan, is very challenging. This is because when the family setup is traditional, there is a lot of additional pressure. Meghana recalled that being a single mother was difficult, even though she had earlier thought she could fit into the role. In her words:
“There are so many expectations, especially with a son. You feel a man should be in the house.”
