
Producer Andrew Gunn has recently passed away on March 2, 2026. Gunn died at his Toronto-based residence, and the news was confirmed by his family. Andrew was 58 years old at the time of his death, and he was battling a neurological degenerative disorder called amyotrophic lateral sclerosis since 2024. Filmmakers and many other well-known personalities from the entertainment industry expressed their grief over Gunn’s sudden demise.
Andrew Gunn was known as the founder of a production company called Gunn Films. The sports comedy film, Eddie, released in 1996, was co-produced by Andrew. He later gained recognition as the producer of the 2003 fantasy comedy film, Freaky Friday. This was followed by other movies like The Haunted Mansion, Sky High, College Road Trip, Bedtime Stories, Race to Witch Mountain, Bad Santa 2, and more.
