In a heartfelt tribute on Women’s Day, Raveena Tandon exclusively opened up with Filmfare about the most influential figure in her life, her mother, Veena Tandon. While the world knows Raveena for her iconic roles on screen, she credits her mother’s quiet strength and calm resilience as the foundation of her own successful journey.

Talking about her life before the glitz and glamour of Bollywood, Raveena shared how deeply her mother’s presence shaped her worldview. For her, Veena Tandon represents the epitome of selfless love and stability. She shared, “For me, my favourite woman has always been my mother, Veena Tandon. She further described her mother as someone who embodies the spirit of generosity, saying, “She is loving, sharing and caring in the truest sense, always putting others before herself and making everyone around her feel seen and supported.”

Beyond the emotional support, Raveena highlighted the practical life lessons her mother instilled in her from a young age. These values of hard work, self-respect, and independence have served as Raveena’s inspiration throughout her professional and personal life. She mentioned, “She taught me the value of hard work, self-respect and standing on your own feet, even when life throws challenges your way.”

In an industry known for its highs and lows, Raveena finds her balance by looking toward her mother’s example. Raveena added, “As a woman, a mother and an individual, she has been my biggest inspiration, both personally and professionally. Every time I face a difficult moment, I think of her calm resilience and it grounds me.”

Concluding her tribute, Raveena expressed her admiration to all women who lead with compassion and quiet bravery. Her message serves as a reminder that true influence often doesn’t require a spotlight. She said, “On Women’s Day, I celebrate her and countless women like her who shape lives not with noise, but with unwavering courage and compassion.”
