On January 8, 2024, Anupam Kher took to his Instagram handle and posted a long note on the demise of his best friend, Pritish Nandy. Recalling his tremendous work, Anupam mentioned he was a unique editor and journalist. He called Pritish is his source of strength during the initial days in Mumbai.
