After a long wait of more than four years, Spider-Man: Brand New Day is finally coming out in theatres on July 31, 2026. The last entry, Spider-Man: No Way Home, was released in 2021 and was highly successful at the box office, accumulating almost USD 1 billion worldwide. Although No Way Home was reportedly the last movie under Tom Holland’s contract, Brand New Day will mark the beginning of a new trilogy. Filming for the new sequel started in August 2025 and ended in December of the same year.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day was originally supposed to arrive on July 24, 2026. However, the date was moved to July 31 to ensure a better release on IMAX screens. The latest sequel is included in Phase Six of the MCU, which will end with Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars, releasing in 2026 and 2027, respectively.
